Food Safety & Hospitality From exploring careers in food service and hospitality to food safety and sanitation this unit is designed to help students learn to safety work in the kitchen. Please remember the lab dress code on lab days. Students who do not follow the dress code will not be participating in the lab. The dress code for labs includes wearing closed-toe shoes, no sleeves beyond the elbow, no bracelets, watches, or dangling jewelry, and no jackets.
Resource Management
During this unit students are going to learn about personal finance and money skills. It is important for students to understand how to use money wisely and keep track of their spending. Students will be taking the online course Vault and Future Smart as a part of this unit. The financial literacy course Future Smart will allow students to work at their own pace over a five day period in order to grasp the basics of money management.
